Ultimately, it is about the bragging rights. A chance to let yourself and your friends know that you are still a force to be reckoned with.
AmericanBikeChallenge is all about providing you with the resources and training plans that will help you achieve your goal of an easy Century.
At a minimum, we recommend doing at least one 60 mile ride in the lead up to your century attempt. We also recommend riding your bike at least 5 hours per week in the 10-15 weeks leading up to the big day (more, if you have no fitness background or are significantly out of shape).
While we do provide an even fancier training plan, these two requirements are the minimum requirements that we’ve observed. If you meet these two things, you have a good chance of succeeding.
